Pray Until Something Happens - this week prayer items...
- Pray for grieving families and friends who have lost loved ones, especially LeeAnn McFarlane whose father passed away this week. Let us pray for one another, especially pray for those who are unwell, struggling or grieving the loss of a loved one or friend: “If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” 1 Corinthians 12:26-27
- Pray for LeeAnn and Fred's leaving reception on Sunday, 5 June as Union Church celebrates the contribution they have made to Union Church and the next season of their lives. Pray that they are received into the arms of a loving church.
- Pray for Matthew and Jolene as they celebrate their marriage and the beginning of a happy life together. Pray for protection upon the sacarament of marriage not just for this young couple, but for all marriages worldwide.
- Pray for an easing of violence and tensions around the world. Pray for leaders everywhere - those close to you and world leaders afar - as they provide direction for individuals, communities, countries and the world.
- Pray for the Building Union For the Future project. Pray for spiritual guidance on redevelopment and specifically that, “Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labour in vain.” Psalm 127
