Union Church Hong Kong is a friendly, English-speaking and interdenominational church. We moved into our new premises at Kennedy Road last year, consisting of a sanctuary, 5 podium floors of church facilities and rental residential units plus car parks.

Roles and Responsibilities

The property officer is responsible for the management and operation of the church premises, rental residential units and car parks.

Below are the general areas of responsibilities:

• Facility management of the church premises, residential units and car parks; including the supervision of a small team of janitors / custodian staff.
• Coordination of the leasing of the residential units by third-party agent(s).
• Management of the tenancy of the residential units, acting as the first point of contact beyond what the residence’s management supports.
• Liaison with the residence’s management on the church premises’ building common areas, and the church’s event manager on church and related activities. Running of tenders and other procurement activities for the upkeep of the church podium and residential units.
• Financial and operational reporting on the above activities to relevant staff members and church committees and ensure effective communication between all parties.

Some or all of the above activities could be contracted out, in which case the incumbent would need to liaise with such external vendors to ensure efficient management. The incumbent is to be keenly aware of the church’s vision and mission while carrying out his or her duties, thus a degree of flexibility in work schedule is to be expected.

We are looking for volunteer piano accompanist for our choir's Wednesday rehearsal. The candidate should be an ATCL/LTCL/FTCL Piano Diploma holder, experienced in accompanying a choir, a good sight-reader and be willing to commit to at least three Wednesdays per month from 7 - 8:30pm.
