Prayer Until Something Happens - this week's prayer items...
- In this season of Advent, pray for churches worldwide as they welcome people who may not regularly attend church. Pray the Holy Spirit rest on the old root of the Church.
- Pray that the Lord allows Union Church to constantly be renewed. Pray the Holy Spirit rests upon us, too. Pray that Union Church continue to bring forth new branches bearing fruit. Pray that the Lord will give visions to young men and women, that Jesus will give a heart for justice and righteousness to a new generation. Pray they will rise up as new leaders to bear new fruit that will become the wine that makes the world glad.
- Pray that people will be grateful for the blessings in their lives. Pray that people will prayerfully give of their time and treasures during Stewardship Sunday.
- Pray for those who are alone during the Christmas season. Pray that the Lord open doors for these individuals to find friends to be with for Christmas activities. Pray that we all see and welcome those who find themselves alone. Pray we are good friends to one another in a way that would please the Prince Of Peace.
