Pray for grieving families and friends who have lost loved ones. Let us pray for one another, especially pray for those who are unwell, struggling or grieving the loss of a loved one or friend: “If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” 1 Corinthians 12:26-27

Pray for people who are sick. Pray for health and well being across the entire Union Church congregation. Pray that the Lord safeguard people's health and well-being. "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7–8

Pray for an easing of violence and tensions around the world. Pray for leaders everywhere - those close to you and world leaders afar - as they provide direction for individuals, communities, countries and the world. Pray for the families of tragedies around the world.

Pray for people going through change in their lives, families and jobs. Pray that they are able to rely on and rest in The Lord.

Those attending the prayer session will be granted access to the area immediately behind the church where Sunday school was held.
