Pray Until Something Happens - this week prayer items...
- Give praise for the many people who participated in the 24 hour prayer vigil from Thursday to Friday evening this past week. More than fourteen people joined in prayer overseas to ensure the prayer vigil was maintained during Hong Kong's sleeping hours, and one individual remained in the Union Church sanctuary all of Thursday evening until 6:30 AM! Thank you!
- Continue to pray for Union Church as individuals on Wednesday evenings and in various small groups travel the Lenten prayer journey. Pray for a deepening in people's prayer life and for smooth logistics for the Lenten Series study.
- Pray for the Building Union For the Future project. Pray that "The kingdom of God is not in word, but in power," (1 Corinthians 4:20) and through prayer we infuse the entire church and congregation to pursue God's will.
- Pray for those struggling or unwell. Pray for those in need of deep healing ~ whether spiritual or physical ~ yet are at a loss for words. Thus pray "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God." Romans 8:26-27
