U Matters

Thanks to all who participated in the Bless the City last Saturday. And thank you for making the ReCharge such a wonderful Wednesday event! As we celebrate the traditions of Union, we are starting some new ministries which just might become traditions. Our Lord is at work in our midst and I for one can’t wait to see what is next.

Gratefully
Pastor Greg

Thank you!

Last weekend, between Bless the City on Saturday and the elderly home visit on Sunday, we had over 100 Union members and friends out serving our community. I've heard a number of anecdotes already about people being changed by the opportunity--realising how simple it is to pick up litter on any walk, seeing homeless people with new eyes, or even learning to crochet. A big thank you to all who helped lead a group--Melody Funk, Kathy Foley, Jeff Rotmeyer, Chris Fung, Johan de Rooy, and Theresa Cheung; to Justin Cheong and Elise Bland for leading us in worship, and to all the staff who worked behind the scenes. Thanks also to the Amber Foundation, who donated 150 toiletry kits to be handed out on the Kindness Walk. Watch for pictures this Sunday!
