The Bible was printed in 1454 A.D. by Johannes Gutenberg, who invented the "type mold" for the printing press. It is considered a "best seller" and is the most widely distributed book. But not everyone has a Bible in their own language. Fortunately ‘Faith Comes by Hearing’ is working diligently to fill the gap. Your generous donation to this ministry has made a difference in someone's life. Thank you. We are also thankful to Danielle Bradsher for leading the way at Union in our ‘Reading the Bible in a Year’ initiative. To date, 107 people signed up to read the Bible in a year and this week over 50 of us joined a dinner and found encouragement in one another and in Pastor Matthew’s Bible history talk. This is no ordinary book. According to Hebrews 4:12, “the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Are you currently reading a best seller? Spring Mission Trip! Fri, 25-31 Mar to Tacloban, Philippines to work with Kid’s International Ministry to build homes in the local community. We will work 4 days and then have one fun adventure day in Leyte, where students can choice between diving, the beach, or a jungle adventure. Early Bird Special $5,000 (Diving & Jungle Adventure Extra) if you register on or before 29 Jan. To register, email Brenna. Youth Confirmation Class This year's confirmation class will start 28 Feb at 11:00AM with an introductory meeting. Children's Worship Time Children ages 3-10 years old please go directly to the Lower Annex for Children's Worship Time. We will have worship for the first 15 minutes followed by bible memory verse, prayers and group activities before proceeding to Sunday School classes. This new format will allow our children the chance to have group worship and be able to learn more children Christian songs. Sunday School Registration If you are new to our church and would like to enroll your children in our Sunday School Program, please sign up here or in person by filling out the form available at the Table on the Green or on the Kingdom Kids Table in front of the Lower Annex on any Sundays. If you have any questions please contact us at . Christian Children Books If you have any Christian’s Children Books you no longer need and are still in great condition, the Children's Ministry would love to have them.
