U Matters

Four different preachers for our five services! This must be a record. We welcome our own Brenna Dykman to the fast growing 8:30AM service. Stephen Green, Baron Green of Hurstpierpoint, the former Group Chairman of HSBC, will preach at 9:30AM. He is in Hong Kong to work with Viva, a children at Risk Charity run by Rob and Christine Lilwell and whose chairman is Union COM member Roy Huang. Morgan Jackson from Faith Comes By Hearing, will preach at 11:00AM. This mission to oral cultures has captured the hearts and minds of Union. We will be taking a special offering at all services and hope to raise $250,000 to match a gift already made. At the 5PM, Rev. Dave Bookless from A Rocha, a Christian environmental ministry will preach. What a chance to look outside our walls to see how we can bring the good news of Christ to people and a planet in need of his redemption.

Lenten Reflection Series - Suffering

In his recent lectures in HK, Os Guiness, author and social critic, posited that the invention of painkillers in the 1960s has resulted in people's unrealistic view of suffering. Do you have a realistic view of suffering? More importantly, do you have a biblical view of suffering? Let's find out in a talk and discussion, "Suffering in the Bible", led by Ting Guevarra-Small on 25 March, Tuesday in the Fellowship Hall, 7:00PM to 8:30PM, light dinner provided. For registration and more information please contact us at or +852 2101 0414.
