"He is risen. He is risen indeed." Because of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we will one day proclaim, "We are risen. We are risen indeed." Please join us and bring your
friends as we celebrate Easter at 7AM, 9:30AM, 11:00AM, and 5PM. The children will have their own Vacation Bible School at Sunday School hour. See you for a special Sunday where we rejoice and remember that nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Pastor Greg

PS. We invite you to join us tomorrow for the 3:00PM Good Friday Service. Representatives from Union, International Methodist, The Vine and German Lutheran Church will lead us in worship.

What is Easter to me?

Chris Yorks, Worship Director
Easter to me is the most important celebration of the church year! It is purely about celebrating The risen Lord in an exalted and uplifting worship. We experience a bit of that heavenly worship we read about in revelation! "Thanksgiving and honour and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever." Amen.

Ting Guevarra-Small, Children's Ministry Director
Growing up, Easter comes after what seems to be such a long period of fast-from meat, television or anything remotely enjoyable. It was a break of fast. Later, it became the most convenient time to get away to exotic places and new adventures. It was a break of routine. Now, as a believer in Jesus, it is no longer a break but the very reason we live our new life under His power and grace. Easter is a time to inspire, a time to proclaim what Jesus did, a time to celebrate what really counts. I cannot wait. This is the Main Event.

Brenna Dykman, Youth Co-Director
For me Easter has not come in a traditional basket form this year but in the shape of backpacks, 80 of them! Easter is the assurance of hope in the mist of darkness. It is God's promise to us, thought the resurrection of God's son, that death has not won but the perfection of God's love enfleshed is our victor. Union has blessed us our mission team with the 80 backpacks to take down to Cambodia. For these children, backpack are not just bags, but hope, hope of a better future and love, knowing that strangers love them enough to send them these gifts. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who sponsored a backpack and helped bring hope and love to the children of Cambodia; what an Easter blessing!

Lee Ann McFarlance, Missions Director
I remember riding my bike one Easter school holiday with the cassette in my Walkman blasting out Sandy Patty's song, "Was it a morning like this?" It was a misty morning, but through the quiet, the music brought back the powerful reminder of what my Christian walk was about! A rock rolled away, disciples finding an empty tomb and the earth rejoicing! What an exciting message - King Jesus who died for ME is not dead, but He is risen and I have a hope for the Future!

May this Easter be a time of new revelation for you too as we say together, He is Risen indeed!

Did the grass sing, did the earth rejoice to feel you again?
Over and over like a trumpet underground
Did the earth seem to pound "He is risen!"
Over and over in a never-ending round
"He is risen! Alleluia! Alleluia!"
