One of my favorite Theologians Dietrich Bonhoeffer said, "God does not love some ideal person, but rather human beings just as we are, not some ideal world, but rather the real world." Next Friday night we have our youth kick-off night. Our U'th Program is a place where young people come together to have fun and learn about God but more important than that, it is a place where they are loved for who they are! Do you have a place where you feel 100% loved for who you are?

Vacation Bible School This Sunday is the final week of VBS, "WEIRD ANIMALS: Where Jesus' Love is One-of-a-Kind", on 17 Aug at 9:30AM and 11:00AM, we will have songs, skits, bible story-telling, games, snacks and science experiments. We are thankful to all our loving volunteers and teachers for making it possible! Sunday School 2014-2015 Registration Kingdom Kids will reopen regular Sunday School on 24 Aug. Please register your children (born 2004 to 2011) for classes by filling up and signing forms found at our Children's Ministry Board or church website. Registering your children will help us keep them safe, c ommunicate well with you and plan better. For more information, please contact us at or +852 2101-0414. Sunday School Teachers Needed Kingdom Kids is looking for committed volunteers who will partner with us in the ministry of teaching our children God's Word. We are looking for teachers for our 5 years old and 10 years old class at 9:30AM and 4 years old at 11:00AM. Come and see a different side of Hong Kong
As well as serving in Sham Shui Po, Union Church will be partnering with a church ministry in Tung Chung, home of the largest Public Housing Estate, Yat Tung Estate, with an estimated population of 40,000 people and some extreme needs! We will be making an exploratory trip to get to know the ministry, and meet some of the families who call Yat Tung Estate, home.
