U Matters

U-Connect Sunday is upon us. The courtyard will be full of opportunities for growth, mission, and service. Union is an amazing place, “a beehive of activity” as one recent visitor put it. We want you to thrive spiritually and this Sunday is a way to find where Union might help you do just that.

We welcome back a Union friend. Dr. Sam Tsang will be preaching at all morning services. Several of his books will be available.

Stewardship

Christ died for us so that we may live . . . for Him. That pretty much puts life and all that makes up this life in context . . . for me. I love that confession that refers to thought, word and deed.  We are to give over these things to Him, or try to, in faith and with the help of His grace. My prayer today is that each of us, in faith knowing His grace (love), will confess that we have fallen short in thought, word and deed and come to know how the more we give over these things to Him each day, how much richer, joyful and glorious life is and becomes. In giving is living.

This cover school, supplies, uniforms, and lunches for 12 months but we're are not stopping there! As  a part of their upcoming mission trip to the Philippines, the youth will be collecting donations for the next few weeks to help send more students to school. Stop by the YOUTH U-Connect Table this Sunday, 13 Sept to make a donation or contact Brenna for more information about sponsorship.
