Prayer Until Something Happens - this week's prayer items...
- Pray for those who are dwelling on accepting Jesus into their hearts. "And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Acts 2:21
- Pray for those who are unwell, whether mild ailments or severe illnesses, pray for Jesus' healing grace and peace upon these people.
- Pray for each other, the community of Union Church, let's remember each other in prayer. "I thank my God in all my remembrance of you. In every prayer of mine I always make my entreaty and petition for you all with joy (delight). [I thank my God] for your fellowship (your sympathetic cooperation and contributions and partnership) in advancing the good news (the Gospel) from the first day [you heard it] until now." Philippians 1:3-5
- Pray for people to consider how to use and contribute their gifts at Union Church. Pray that people seek to be good stewards of the time and treasures given to us. Pray for wisdom to discern Jesus' will for us, strength to meet the challenge, and the grace to remain committed to Him. Pray that we use our gifts for the Lord's greater honour and glory. "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:21
