Pray Until Something Happens - this week prayer items...
- Pray for opportunities for the Gospel to be shared in China as families gather to celebrate Chinese New Year. Pray especially for migrant workers, as this is often the only time of the year that they are able to see the spouses and children left behind. Likewise, Tet is the traditional Lunar New Year holiday in Vietnam and marks the most significant time of the year for family gatherings: pray for believers who will be facing extra pressure from their families because of their faith in Christ.
- Pray for Union Church as we begin the Lenten Series study on prayer after Chinese New Year. Pray that all the logistics of the study come together unhindered. Pray that people’s relationship with prayer deepens as a result of the study. Pray that people feel more connected to God and one another as the Body of Christ within Union Church. Let us pray for one another, especially pray for those who are unwell or struggling: “And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it.” 1 Corinthians 12:26
- Pray for the Building Union For the Future project. Pray that God’s will be followed and that there is a tangible presence of God in Union Church. “Many are the plans in a man’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails. ” Proverbs19:21
- Pray for the Filipino Ministry Joint Chinese New Year Bible Conference. Pray for renewal and enriching time. Pray for the speaker, Rev. David Dasig for God’s anointing and empowering.
