PeaceBox 2023

It's time for PeaceBox 2023! This is an outreach opportunity for all of Union Church. Together we can promote peace and love in Hong Kong during the Easter season by sharing gifts with underprivileged families.

This campaign, sponsored annually by the Hong Kong Church Network for the Poor (HKCNP) and organised at Union Church by the Children's Ministry, benefits families with younger children as well as the powerless to show them our love, care and support. 

Your donation is a blessing that encourages a person in need to keep going. 

This is how you can participate! 

1. Prepare a shoe-sized box(es) with essential items for children and/or families*

2. Collect and complete a "Blessings Card" from the PeaceBox table or paste your own note on top of your box.

3. Drop off your box(es) to Union Church between 19 February and 5 March. 

Union Church will get all the boxes to HKCNP for further distribution. Thank you! 

*Helpful hints: 

DO pack your box with new items like this: 

Stationery - spiral notebook. pencils, paints

Toys and Board games 

Water bottle, tooth brush and tooth paste, hat and scarf

Dried food - biscuits, tea, noodles

PLEASE DO NOT pack your box with items like this: 

Cash, cheques, coins, vouchers

Books

Sharp items such as scissors 

Fragile, breakable items

Perishable food; chocolate; soft drinks

Food that expires in the next 6 months

Food that might cause allergic reaction (eg nuts) 

Liquids

Medicines / Vitamins

Second hand items
