U Matters

The Great Commission gives Christians direction in how we are to live our lives. Jesus said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20.

According to Operation World, "The sobering fact is that, probably 24-27% of the world’s population have not had the good news presented to them in a way they could appreciate and meaningfully respond to." That’s about two billion people. It is so easy to neglect our role and responsibility, we get distracted and become complacent.

As we kick off the fall, we encourage you to get connected. This Sunday, we honour and acknowledge our one-year anniversary at Sunlight Tower, we welcome Jason Young, Executive Director of Alpha to the pulpit, and we invite you to join one of our many lunches. We are all called to participate in the Great Commission, may His light shine brightly.

Blessings,
Pastor Michele
