Last Sunday I attended the good-bye party of a Union family moving from HK. It seems that just about everyone at the party was on their way out. I had the feeling I was at a graduation party where everyone was celebrating but me--and I had to repeat the grade again. It is not easy to bid farewell to friends. This Sunday we do just that. Let's be praying for them as they continue the exciting journey of following Jesus to a new location. This year we have seen enormous growth in the Sunday School, even though we lost our director. Ting, and now Jacklien recruited a great group of teachers. This Sunday we thank each person who allowed God to use them to help our children grow in faith. Pastor Greg |

Faith in the Workplace Workshop **This Sunday - Last Workshop** Our deacon, Andrew Chua, is conducting a series of workshops on being a disciple of Jesus in the workplace. The workshop is at 6:15PM in the Fellowship Hall after the 5:00PM Service on 31 May. If you missed the previous sessions, please join the final session. All are welcome at the Sunday workshop: there is no need to pre-register. For those who cannot attend Sunday evening, Andrew Chua will host a repeat lunch workshop on Thursday, 4 June from 1:00-2:00PM -18th Floor, Princes Building. For the Thursday lunch workshop, please pre-register. Space is limited to eight people. Please contact Andrew MacGeoch for registration and upon arrival. Membership Next class will be held on Monday, 8 June, 7:30-9:00PM. |

Come learn how to respond spiritually as Christians to the three biggest uncertainties everyone faces in life. Dr. Greenman is also professor of Theology and Ethics at Regent, the author of ten books, and the co-author of three including Life in the Spirit andThe Sermon on the Mount.

Fri, 12 Jun - End of Year Event: The Amazing (G)Race The amazing race is a citywide scavenger hunt! Youth will meet at the church at 6:00pm to split into Teams. The teams will then have an hour and a half to get as many points as possible and win the grand prize. Youth will all join back at the church at 8:00 for a celebration BBQ! We will need Adults who can be team captains for our Jr. High groups. We will also need parents to help with the BBQ. If you can help, please email Brenna! Left behind Movie Night Are you still in Hong Kong? Our last office youth group is 19 Jun. Both Jr. High and Sr. High are invited for Pizza and a movie from 6:30 to 9:00PM. This Sunday, 31 May at both 9:30 and 11:00AM service, we will be paying tribute to all of our Sunday School Teachers for their dedication and love towards our children's ministry. Our Sunday School teachers comprise of parents and young adults, who have volunteered their Sunday mornings to minister and care for our children. On behalf of all the children, parents and Union Church family, we would like to say 'a big thank you' to all of our Sunday School teachers. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
Parents and UC family, please do extend your thanks and well wishes to our Sunday School teachers when you see them this Sunday.

International Trips
China: Look out for a trip to Heng Yang in the Fall with International China Concern, 17-20 Sep
South Africa/Swaziland - Vacation with a Purpose, 16-23 Oct
We will be visiting the Town of Bulembu in Swaziland and serving the children through a VBS program and some light manual labour. Afterwards we will head to the world renowned Kruger National Park and look out for the Big Five - Elephant, Lion, Rhino, Leopard and Buffalo. Interested? Contact Lee-Ann by 4 Jun.
