Restored Lives — Recovery from Divorce and Separation Course is run over seven Thursdays, 20 October – 8 December, 7:00PM – 9:30PM in the Upper Annex. The course is both practical and supportive, giving any separated or divorced person the opportunity to discuss the challenges they are facing and the tools to deal with these effectively. Membership You may think you are a member at Union Church because you attend regularly and serve in a ministry, but have you officially gone through the process? If you want to become a member, which enables you to vote and participate in certain ministries, meet Union's Deacons Court at any service on Sunday 13 November. Sign up at the Welcome Table. If that date doesn’t work for you please contact Pastor Michele.

Music Makers For those families who are big fans of Music Makers, we have good news! Music Makers will be held every Wednesday 4:00PM-5:00PM, 2 November to 7 December. Our Music Director, Chris Yorks, will be teaching all interested children how to sing. This is also a great opportunity for your child to get extra practice for the Christmas Musical. Please contact Children to register your child. 

“A Galactic Christmas Adventure" Children's Musical - Save the Date: 11 December 2016
For this year's Christmas Musical, our children will have fun sharing the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, through a galactic adventure. The message of our Christmas Musical will be of “Hope”, which is in Christ Jesus. "For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life”, John 3:16. It will be meaningful, family-orientated and filled with lots of fun scenes for all to enjoy. We invite all children from ages 3-10 years old to join us and be a part of this magical time of the year. Let us share the great news of Jesus’ birth for all to hear. 

We will start rehearsing for the Christmas Musical this Sunday, 30 October continuing to 10 December. During this period of time please bring your children directly to the Lower Annex. If you would like to get involved by sharing with us your talents and time in staging, costumes making/sourcing, group leaders, cast prompters, setting up the stage, or just helping us support and cheering for our children, please contact Children. We would love to hear from you and look forward to working with you to make this year's Christmas Musical a memorable event for all of us.

Mother's Choice Walkathon Families Walking for Families: Mother’s Choice Walkathon is on 30 October (Sunday)! It is a time to celebrate family, raise much-needed funds to care for children without families, and walk together to build stronger families for the children in our community. The Walkathon includes a (stroller-friendly) 4km walk on Bowen Road, with three start times (10AM, 11AM, 12NOON), and ending with a carnival at Island School! We need your help! We have a wonderful opportunity in Cambodia to offer a one day VBS to over 100 kids! We are looking for people who might want to sponsor craft supplies and help share Jesus with the children. If you can help, please e-mail . 

Mats of Kindness for the Homeless in Hong Kong Following up on Jeff Rotmeyer's TEDx talk, we invite you to help the homeless in HK. On Sunday, 13 November, 12NOON-3:30PM, bring a dish for lunch and come to cut bags and/or crochet mats for the homeless to sleep on. If you have plastic bags, please bring them along.
