U Matters

I am not a big user of apps—but that is changing.  One big reason is that Union Church now has its own app!  All you need to do is go to the App Store (or wherever or however you get app) and type in Union Church.  You will find it a ready source of information, encouragement, and feedback.  Speaking of encouragement, how is your week going?

This Sunday we begin a new series on the book of James: Faith Works.  This year is the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation  and the question of FAITH vs. WORKS was a big one then—and still is now.  Preparing for Union's move is forcing me to put my faith into practice in new and not always comfortable ways.  Many of you have challenges that are not easy. Then we read James 1:2: “When you face trials of any kind, consider it nothing but joy.”  Have the sort of joyful day that doesn’t make sense if you didn’t know Jesus!

Pastor Greg
