James Legge, the founder and father of Union Church, wrote in 1847 that his goal was “to tell the millions of China’s people about Jesus Christ.” As a missionary, a scholar, and Union’s pastor for 26 years, he made an impact that continues to this day. Next Wednesday, thirty-five James Legge scholars from around the world will visit Union Church. We are invited to join them. There will be a fellowship time at 7:00PM and then a panel at 7:30PM. Christopher Legge will present a powerpoint presentation on his great-great grandfather. Several of us will make brief presentations, moderated by HKBU’s Professor Lauren Pfister, a top authority on Legge. This is a great chance to learn about Union’s heritage and how we can learn from the past as we shape Union’s future together. Pastor Greg |

Palm Sunday, 29 March Children will gather on the lawn 10 minutes earlier before the 9:30am and 11:00am service for the Palm Sunday procession. Easter Sunday, 5 April Children are invited to the Lower Annex for Easter activities. Join us for cookies decoration, Easter egg & basket decorating, and an Easter Egg HUNT!! Help us make these Easter Activities a fun and enjoyable time for the children by signing up to VOLUNTEER. Please contact to volunteer. Pick Up Reminder Parents please pick up your children promptly after the service, and we kindly ask that you keep an eye on your children as you fellowship at the lawn. "Facing Challenges and God's Way Out" Talk Mrs. Chua King Ling will be speaking on 'Facing challenges and God's way out' at 9:30AM-12:30PM, 11 April, in Fellowship Hall. For registration, please email Linda Ngan before 31 March 2015. Recovery From Divorce and Separation Course Thursdays, 30 April-11 June, 7:00-9:30PM at Union Church, followed by a social dinner (date to be confirmed). This 7-week course is an opportunity to move forward from the hurt of the past towards rebuilding life. Cost $400/person, includes supper each course evening and materials.
