U Matters
Monday I got to meet and hold and hug my grandson Carter. I experienced all sorts of new emotions. There was a feeling of love and sense of wonder that reduced me to tears.
But my love for the lad pales in comparison to the love God has for him. Oh how we are loved--deeply loved--by our Heavenly Father.
How are you doing on your homework? Pastor Matthew and I are cheering for you as you read five minutes and pray five minutes a day. It will change your life!

5:00PM Sermon Series ‘Amos: a prophet for the People’
29 January, 5, 12, 19 and 26 February
God called Amos, a shepard, to prophesy to the Nation of Israel. What Amos said was not comforting. Amos criticised the nations for injustice and lack of care for those on the margins of society. Join us for a 5 week sermon series on the minor prophet Amos who gave major challenges to God’s people.

“The Marriage Course” will run from Thursdays, 9 February – 23 March 2017. The course offers a lifetime of practical ideas and tools to help keep your relationship strong. The course is based on Christian principles but is designed for ALL couples with or without a church background.

Young Adults
Uni-On, the university aged fellowship at Union!
Are you between 18 and 23? Studying or interning in Hong Kong? Please join us at Starbucks in Alexandra House (Central) on Thursdays at 6:00PM for a chance to relax and experience community with other university aged young adults from Union. Friends are more than welcome. Contact: YOUNG ADULTS.

Youth
Regular Friday Youth Group
Junior High (11-13) from 6:00PM to 8:00PM
Senior High (14-18) from 7:30PM to 9:00PM (+Hang out in the Youth Lounge after until 10:00PM!)
Youth Sunday Life
9:30AM – 10:30AM
All ages will meet in the Youth Lounge to watch a short video from the NOOMA series. We will then break up into small groups for discussion.
Youth Movie Night
Friday, 27 January will be a Youth Group Movie Night! Youth of all ages are encouraged to attend. There will be snacks, refreshments, and most of all a chance for youth to hangout and relax together while watching a movie!
Ocean Park Day Trip
Friday, 3 February will be a fun trip to Ocean Park with those Youth who are in Hong Kong during the Chinese New Year holiday. Youth should bring HK$438 for the ticket (also can be purchased beforehand here). Youth should also bring money for lunch/snacks if they want them.

Sunday School Registration
If you are new to Union Church or if you have yet to register your children for our Sunday School program, kindly register your children here.
