U Matters

This week Pastor Matthew is going to preach on boasting at most services and I am going to preach at the U Cafe on pride. We didn’t consult each other—seems that great minds think alike.  We are team teaching a course on MERE CHRISTIANITY where C.S. Lewis claims that pride is “the great sin.”  He goes on to note that “pride leads to every other vice: it is the complete anti-God state of mind.”

What about giving up pride for Lent this week?  What changes would you have to make in the way you think and act?

Pastor Greg
