U Matters

Someone commented that "you sense the vitality and the presence of the Holy Spirit in the church." What a great compliment. Take last night as an example. Wednesday night the Joint Leaders, Oasis, and Alpha all met. What a great group of leaders who have a common cause and will lead us well. I still remember seven years ago when someone introduced himself as the only young adult at Union. Has that ever changed since Oasis. There is a new generation of students and young professionals that God will use to help Union thrive. But the best meeting of the night was the Alpha Dinner. I met one person who had never been to a Christian Church but found a colleague who welcomed her warmly. It's not too late to invite your friends to the Alpha Course that starts next Wednesday 22 April.

The Joint Leaders gave permission to invite anyone who would like to make a financial gift in memory of Nick Miller to do so, either for a cause Alison will determine, or to help defray their many expenses. Please contact the church office for how best to do this. We will have more information shortly. Please continue to pray for Alison and the children.
