The hazy, hot summer of 2015 is winding down. On 23 August we kick off the new church year with "What's Cookin' at Union?" There will be a spectacular BBQ, complete with our own Union Master Chef Potato Salad Contest. Please come and bring your friends and co-workers. Eighty percent (80%) of people come to church because of a personal invitation. My prayer is that we go from being a welcoming to an inviting congregation this Autumn. Youth Fall Mission Trip to the Philippines! 1 - 4 Oct. The youth will be flying down to Manila to work with Kids International Ministry (KIM). We will be building houses, helping with the daily food distribution program, working at KIM's Children home and at-risk girls home. This is a meaningful and fun way to spend the holiday weekend. Registration ends 1 Sept. Youth who register before 15 Aug will receive the Early Bird discount price of HK$3,000. Registration after that is dependent on flight prices. To register, e-mail Brenna.

Sunday School Lite Sunday, 16 August, Kingdom Kids invite all children 3-to 10-years old for a movie and fun games at the lower annex. Please bring kids directly to lower annex. VBS For Nepal A big 'Thank You' to all the Kingdom Kids families and congregation for all your support for the VBS for Nepal. We have raised HK$12,000 and this money will go towards helping the people of Nepal rebuild their lives which were affected by the earthquake. Sunday School 2015-2016 Registration Open Sunday School resumes on 23 August. All children joining our Sunday School classes for the year 2015-2016 must be registered by filling in and signing our Registration Form available from the Kingdom Kids Table (in front of the lower annex room), our church website (www.unionchurchhk.org) or click here. Registering your children will help us keep them safe, communicate well with you and plan our programs better.
