5:00PM Sermon Series ‘Amos: A Prophet for the People’
26 February God called Amos, a shepard, to prophesy to the nation of Israel. What Amos said was not comforting. Amos criticised the nation for injustice and lack of care for those on the margins of society. Join us for the last of this five week sermon series on the minor prophet Amos who gave major challenges to God’s people. Annual General MeetingUnion’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Saturday, 11 March 2017. It will begin at 6PM with a “Love Feast,” followed by the meeting at 7PM. Please come join us as we celebrate together, and give glory to God. Non-members are welcome to attend. Please bring a dish, salad or dessert to share. The sign-up sheet will be available at the “Table on the Green”. Nominations for 2017 Committee of Management (CoM) are now open to the church. Members of 6 months and above, over 18 years of age and in good standing, who wish to nominate a candidate for the 2017 CoM, please fill in a nomination form available from the church office and submit to the office, attention the Honorary Secretary. Nominations must be seconded by another voting member and have the agreement of the nominee. |
