Let’s be Restored! May we each be reservoirs of living water!

We invite you to join a special evening on Tuesday, 26 April, 7:30pm - 9:00pm. This online experience has been designed for women to journey through a creative process - without needing any special creative talent!

This is an opportunity for you to immerse yourself in expressions of creativity as you are led through exercises and are refilled by the Lord. Please register below to receive the Zoom link.

What will you need to join:
A Bible, pen, pencil + blank paper

In preparation, take a moment to read, ponder + sit with Psalm 71:14-21 NIV (full Scripture provided below).

Organisers:

Juliana Rotmeyer is the Director of Creativity and Women's Ministry at Union Church. Juliana's passion is sharing her faith in creative ways. Her hope is to encourage + awaken the creative spirit within our congregation, with the intention of knowing Christ more fully.

Crystal Lo is a designer and artist, and is currently an Expressive Arts Therapist in training. She joined Union Church in 2009 and is one of the worship leaders in the contemporary service.  In her years of art-making, and now her training in Expressive Arts Therapy, Crystal found that creative arts helped her to pour out her soul even when she was lost for words, and helped her experience God more deeply. Engaging in the arts helped her connect with God and others beyond language and culture.

Psalm 71:14-21 NIV

14  As for me, I will always have hope;
    I will praise you more and more.
15 My mouth will tell of your righteous deeds,
    of your saving acts all day long—
    though I know not how to relate them all.
16 I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, Sovereign Lord;
    I will proclaim your righteous deeds, yours alone.
17 Since my youth, God, you have taught me,
    and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.
18 Even when I am old and gray,
    do not forsake me, my God,
till I declare your power to the next generation,
    your mighty acts to all who are to come.
19 Your righteousness, God, reaches to the heavens,
    you who have done great things.
    Who is like you, God?
20 Though you have made me see troubles,
    many and bitter,
    you will restore my life again;
from the depths of the earth
    you will again bring me up.
21 You will increase my honor
    and comfort me once more.
