Imago Dei in the Age of AI: The Church's Call to Contra-Liturgy
This lecture suggests how the Christian concept of the Imago Dei provides a crucial framework for understanding human uniqueness in an age where - due to Artificial Intelligence - the boundaries between human and machine are blurring. For the church and her mission, one implication is that she is called to practice a 'contra-liturgy' that champions human dignity, redemptive action, and structural justice over datafication and commodification.
