Co-hosted with Eden—a Christian non-profit dedicated to ending human trafficking and sexual exploitation in Southeast Asia—this event features a screening of The Butcher’s Shop (35 mins). The film exposes the hidden reality of Myanmar’s forced-labor "Pig Butchering Scam" compounds through the stories of Dembe and Zehra, two workers lured by high-paying jobs who were instead trafficked into prison-like facilities and forced to execute online scams under threat of violence.Please sign up below to reserve your spot and lunch.
