Good Friday Cantata - No Greater Love

This season, join us for a profound musical journey through the cantata No Greater Love by Lloyd Larson.

In a world that often struggles to define or adequately convey love, Jesus introduced a selfless dimension to the word—modeling a love that gives whole-heartedly while anticipating nothing in return. Through this moving work, conducted by our Choir Director, Ms. Hilary Law, we will reflect on Jesus’s betrayal and His ultimate sacrifice.

Good Friday Cantata

Friday, 3 April | 3:00pm Union Church Hong Kong, 1/F Sanctuary Hear the joint choirs of Union Church Hong Kong, Hop Yat Church Hong Kong, the German-Speaking Evangelical Lutheran Congregation, and the German-Speaking Catholic Congregation in Hong Kong. Location: 22A Kennedy Road, Mid-Levels.

Remarks: There will be a reflective and quiet service at 11am. 

Following Good Friday, children and families are welcomed to Easter Fest @22A on Saturday, 4 April and to our Easter Sunday worship services at 7am, 9:45am and 11:15am on 5 April. The 3pm Easter service is in Tagalog. (Please note that there is not an 8:45am service on Easter Sunday.) 

No registration needed. Limited parking available at 22A Kennedy Road ($32 an hour, payable by Octopus). 

Concert at Hysan Place

Sunday, 26 April | 2:30pm The Atrium, Hysan Place Our choirs and musicians will repeat the cantata in the heart of the city for shoppers and the community to enjoy. Location: 500 Hennessy Road, Causeway Bay
