Good Friday Cantata - Witness

This Good Friday, 29 March 2024, worship the Lord together through the cantata, Witness, by Lloyd Larson. Witness takes us to the heart of the Passion Story as we view Christ's journey to the cross through the varied eyewitness accounts of devout believers, angry deniers, and puzzled skeptics. We are challenged to become faithful witnesses in our own right.

There are two opportunities to enjoy this beautiful expression of worship on the 29th: 

• Union Church Hong Kong - 3 - 4pm - Hear the combined choirs of Union Church, Hop Yat Church Hong Kong and the German Speaking Evangelical Lutheran Congregation and a chamber orchestra. Enjoy the beauty of Witness in the new Union Church Sanctuary and the superior acoustical experience it offers. 22A Kennedy Road, Mid-levels. 
  
  
• Atrium at Hysan Place - 5:30 - 6:30pm - Our choirs and musicians will repeat the cantata, Witness, at the Atrium at Hysan Place, 500 Hennessy Road, Causeway Bay. 
  
  

Everyone is welcome - the cantata is free of charge. 

Following Good Friday, children and families are welcomed to Easter Fest @22A on Saturday, 30 March and to our Easter Sunday worship services at 7am, 9:45am and 11:15am on 31 March. The 3pm Easter service is in Tagalog. (Please note that there is not an 8:45am service on Easter Sunday.) 

No registration needed. Limited parking available at 22A Kennedy Road ($32 an hour, payable by Octopus).
