Christmas Outreach Opportunities

'Tis the season to gather your family, friends and small group to serve the people of Hong Kong through Christmas outreach. Share the love of Christ with people in need.

We have three Christmas Outreach opportunities for you to choose from. Serve on one outing - or all three! Register below.

Home of Loving Faithfulness, Sheung Shui
Saturday, 16 December, 2-5pm (coach departs Union at 1:30pm)
Join our Sunday School families and get ready for fun and interaction at HOLF in the New Territories. There will be carol singing, acting, sharing of yummy snacks and most of all a time of fellowship with the people of HOLF.  The programme runs from 2 - 5pm and the coach departs Union Church at 1:30 sharp! All aboard to this long-time partner's special home. Additionally, we would like to bless them with 20 gift bags, each containing a 1) small hand towel, 2) Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion - Deep Restore, 3) Colgate Triple Action toothpaste, and 4) a pack of Crest toothbrushes. Mu Min Network in Tung Chung
Sunday, 17 December, 12:30 - 4:30pm
Get connected with this Union Church partner who serves grassroot families, children and the elderly on Lantau. Mu Min has been our Ministry Partner since 2014 and is also one of the participating churches in the Hong Kong Church Network for the Poor. We will gather in Fellowship Hall after the 11:15 service for a quick sandwich and then head out together to the MTR. Together with Mu Min, we will distribute gifts to families / small businesses in need in Tung Chung. Cantonese language is a plus - but come along even if you only speak English! Inner City Ministries and the Nepalese Community
Tuesday, 19 December, 5pm
Join the Union Church team volunteering at Inner City Ministries' Community Christmas Outreach. The event is for Nepalese families to gather and celebrate through Christmas carols, cultural dance and drama and the sharing of the Gospel message. Our team is volunteering to usher parents and children, help distribute gifts, and engage kids with various Christmas activities. We will meet and then travel together to St. Andrew's Church in Jordan. Contact Missions committee rep: Esther Chung
