Wednesday, 28 July - Selah creative worship service led by Juliana Rotmeyer

This is the final session of our Experiencing Worship series. The Selah creative worship experience invites you to step deeper by faith and celebrate being still to know God. This is a time to pause from your busyness and rest in a unique service that weaves together worship, prayer, silence and spiritual formation. Join Selah to draw close to Jesus and deepen your relationship with our Creator.

Soon after settling into a church community in Hong Kong she took steps to look deeper. Wednesday, 7 July - “Created” Worship-based art jamming with Crystal Lo
“In the beginning, God created…”
We invite you to join us for a night of encountering God, to reflect and respond to our creator God in worship through creating art.  No prior art experience is required, come as you are, with an open heart!

Crystal Lo is a designer and artist, and is currently an Expressive Arts Therapist in training.  She joined Union Church in 2009 and is one of the worship leaders in the contemporary service.  In her years of art-making, and now her training in Expressive Arts Therapy, Crystal found that creative arts helped her to pour out her soul even when she was lost for words, and helped her experience God more deeply. Engaging in the arts helped her connect with God and others beyond language and culture.
In the 2 hour workshop, Crystal will introduce different art materials, and will guide the group through a reflection before art-making.  Allow God to speak to you personally as you reflect and create.  Our aim is not to create a masterpiece, but to encounter God through the process.  No prior art experience is required, come and create with God along-side you.
