Lunch with New Sight Eye Care

Union Church is delighted to present an opportunity to learn how God is at work in the mission field in Congo.
Dr. Joyce Samoutou-Wong and her husband, Henri, are passionate about helping people see both physically and spiritually, and they co-founded New Sight Eye Care in Congo in 2012.
Dr. Samoutou-Wong will share with us how they pioneered the first non-profit eye centre in Congo, opened a second eye centre in 2019, and are treating approximately 200 patients a month.
Currently New Sight Eye Care is building an eye hospital in the strategic centre of Ouesso in the north of Congo.
By the grace of God, New Sight Eye Care is bringing cost-effective solutions to treat and prevent blindness in this region, and sharing the love of Jesus with families from Congo and neighbouring countries.
