Julia Hu

Born and raised in Shanghai, China, I came to faith in Jesus Christ when I went to the United States for school and later work. I was baptized in January 2002 in Park Street Church in Boston.
In 2006, I moved to Hong Kong and joined Hong Kong Mandarin Bible Church where I actively served in various ministries, including small group, worship, prayer, interpretation, short-term missions, and etc.
For a fellowship near office, I have also been attending Union Church’s women’s fellowship since around 2007. After getting married in Union Church, I became a member of Union Church in 2016. I have been an active member of Saturday Small Group, Moms in Prayers Central fellowship, and participated in various outreaches from time to time. As my child grows bigger, I feel called to engage more in serving at church, to seek and carry out, together with body of Christ here, God’s will for our community.
Professionally I have been in investment field and am currently a venture capital investor at a corporate venture fund. My husband Leon and I have one son, Adam, aged 7.
