I have been worshipping at Union for approximately 18 years. For more than 10 years, I was closely involved in the BUFF (Building Union for the Future) project and worked on the development of the new 22A until our return to the new premises in Sept 2023. I assisted with identifying and selecting a developer to work with us, negotiating the Development Agreement with our joint-venture partner, oversaw the project management, planning and building approvals and construction phases, the moves to and from Sunlight Tower and also in the leasing of the residential units. Recently, I was approached, am an honoured (subject to the congregation’s approval), to become a Trustee of Union. I see this role as a calling to be one of the custodians of the immense blessing God gave to Union in the form of the new 22A, and as a continuation of my previous work on its development.
