U Matters
Scripture says we are to “Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.” (Romans 12:15) This Sunday we farewell Anto and Jess Ficatier. We rejoice that they are excited about beginning a youth and young adult ministry at a church in the UK, however, we are sad that they are leaving our Church community.
Over the past three years, Anto has served at Union Church in the areas of youth, young adults and men’s ministry. Anto has been a valuable member of our pastoral team, co-leading a missions trip to Mongolia, being a part of our retreat planning team and preaching team. Thank you Jess for teaching Sunday School and serving with two meaningful NGO’s in the city. You have both served the city well.
Anto and Jess, know that you will be missed and we appreciated getting to know you both. We know that the Lord will use you wherever He takes you. This Sunday Anto will be preaching, please ensure you say goodbye.

Marriage Course is back after summer!!
Build a marriage that lasts. Tuesday nights from 10 September to 5 November 2019. 7:00PM to 9:30PM. Fellowship Hall of Union Church
Whether you are newly married or been married for years, this course offers a lifetime of practical ideas and tools to help keep your relationship strong. The course runs for 7 weeks + 1 further week if we have a social gathering (1 Oct will be a week off). It is based on Christian principles but is designed for ALL couples with or without a church background. The course is structured like a date night between each couple - there is no group sharing - just a romantic 3 course dinner which is served for you, a talk with videos and private discussions between yourselves as a couple.

For the month of July, kids will learn from the book of wisdom, Proverbs and learn how to make wise choices. Children ages 3-11 years old will meet at Room 2&3 for both the 9:45AM and 11:15AM services. Youth aged children are welcome to join us.
