U Matters

This week I have been reading in Colossians and meditating on chapter one. A wonderful chapter whereby Paul affirms the supremacy of the Son of God and affirms the Church. Paul ends this chapter by saying,

“He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.” V.18

As our staff team looks to the fall we are reminded of this challenge, ‘presenting everyone fully mature in Christ.” There are many ways in which you can mature in Christ. You may want to consider some of Monte Peterson’s adult education classes, join or start a small group, engage with ReCharge, start a new ministry, explore Walk to Emmaus, begin scripture memorization, institute a Sabbath rest, attend or bring a friend to Alpha. Or you may want to take a spiritual formation challenge presented by Basileia http://www.basileia.hk. Regardless, as believers we need to be intentional in nurturing our relationship with God.

This fall we look forward to growing together, Pastor Michele

The Hong Kong Christian Kun Sun Association (KSA) will hold a fundraising walkathon “Prayer Walk”, on 29 September, Saturday afternoon, for their prison ministry that has been operating for 40 years.
