U Matters

Saturday at 7:00PM we invite you to join us for Union’s AGM. What a year this has been with the move from 22A Kennedy Road to Sunlight Tower!

The annual meeting will be a time to reflect, worship, vote for new officers, and hear about Building Union for the Future, the associate pastor search, and our budget. Alas, there will not be a meal so eat first and then come for dessert and the meeting."Dear Lord, change me and use me. Change and use Union Church."

Gratefully
Pastor Greg

This Week

Special Taize worship serviceSunday, 11 March, 5:15PM, led by brothers from the Taize community in France. Taize is an ecumenical Christian monastic community in France with a strong devotion to reconciliation and peace. They are known for their contemplative, quiet style of worship and prayer which involves simple, repetitive songs, which become a way of listening to God. Worship will be followed by a fellowship dinner with the brothers. RSVP here for the dinner.

Small Group

It's ALWAYS a good time to join a small group, but right now new groups are forming for our Lenten study, so if you've ever wanted to "try out" a small group without a long-term commitment, here's your opportunity!

And if a traditional small group is hard for your schedule to manage, try our new ONLINE small group. Using an online learning platform (moodle), you will have the chance to discuss the week's readings with other Union folk and pray together throughout the course of the week, whenever it fits your schedule.

Adult Education

New Study Opportunity:
Do you ever struggle to understand or explain how the themes from the Hebrew Scriptures connect to Jesus' story? Or how to connect any of it with your own story? Manna and Mercy, by Dan Erlander, is both simple and rich, and this 6-week class will help all of us connect God's story to our own. 12:30PM Sundays, starting 15 April. RSVP to Monte Peterson.
