Recruitment for 2026 Christmas Cantata Youth Choir Members

Thank you for your interest in singing for the 2026 Christmas Cantata.
Recruitment is open from July 5 (Sunday) to August 16 (Sunday) by 10pm, and rehearsals will commence on October 11 (Sunday) at 10:50am in the 2/F Music Room.
Audition is not necessary; however, experience of sight-singing and/or choral singing is beneficial.
Music scores and supplies including practice soundtracks will be provided .

Final Rehearsal with chamber orchestra

Christmas Cantata Concert at HK Museum of Art
- Date | 2026.12.06 (Sunday)
- Time | 3:00pm call time, 3:30pm concert

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Rehearsals
Every Sunday: 10:50-11:20am (Sectional rehearsal) @ 2/F Music Room, 11:20am-12pm (Joint rehearsal) @ 2/F Chapel.
Attendance Policy
- Singers are encouraged and expected to attend practices regularly in order to prepare for the Cantata.
- Singers will need to attend 4 out of 6 rehearsals (Sunday) from October 11 - November 15, 2 run-through rehearsals, and the final rehearsal are mandatory.
- If a choir member must be absent from any rehearsals, they are encouraged to tell their section leaders in a timely manner.
- Attendance records will be updated and sent out in the group chat for reference on a weekly basis. Based on the attendance records, we will announce the finalized singer’s list on November 16.
