Recruitment for 2026 Christmas Cantata Adult Choir Members

Thank you for your interest in singing for the 2026 Christmas Cantata.
Recruitment is open from July 5 (Sunday) to August 16 (Sunday) by 10pm, and rehearsals will commence on August 30 (Sunday) at 11:20am in the 2/F Chapel.
Audition is not necessary; however, experience of sight-singing and/or choral singing is beneficial.
Music scores and supplies including practice soundtracks will be provided on the first rehearsal.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Rehearsals @ 2/F Chapel and Music Room
Every Wednesday: 7:45pm–8:45pm (sectional and joint practice)
Rehearsals @ 2/F Chapel Every Sunday: 11:20am-12:00pm (joint practice)
Attendance Policy
- Singers are encouraged and expected to attend practices regularly in order to prepare for the Cantata.
- A minimum of 9 out of 23 rehearsals (Sunday and/or Wednesday) from August 30 - November 15, 2 out of 4 run-through rehearsals, and the final rehearsal with chamber orchestra are mandatory.
- If a choir member must be absent from any rehearsals, they are encouraged to tell their section leaders in a timely manner.
- Attendance records will be updated and sent out in the group chat for reference on a weekly basis. Based on the records, we will announce the finalized singer’s list on November 16.
