DEACONS' COURT
Tired of the cold Canadian winters, I moved to Hong Kong in 1997. In 2001, my husband and I attended the Alpha Course at Union Church. Afterwards, we visited other churches, but chose Union because of the diverse congregation, sense of community and Christ-Centered teaching. The support we received from our Union Church family following the premature birth of our triplets cemented our belief that God has given this Union Church family the gift of community.
Over the years I have been involved at Union Church in roles including Sunday School teacher, Stephen Ministry leader, Hospitality Team member, Alpha volunteer, Women's Fellowship volunteer, the Grace of Giving campaign, Baking Ministry, and our wonderful Tuesday morning prayer meeting. Being a member of the Deacons’ Court is an honour. I am praying for Union Church.
Between services on a Sunday I'm usually in the Fellowship Hall eating cookies and drinking tea. Please join me, I'd love to spend time with you.
