Koon Wee (Wee Hiang Koon)

H. Koon Wee grew up in Singapore and spent a decade in New York City before arriving in Hong Kong in 2011. He came to know Jesus after high school when he was introduced to a youth ministry at his aunt’s church, and was baptized at Princeton Christian Church in 1999. He is most inspired by the ministries serving the urban poor and marginal groups in Hong Kong. He caught a glimpse of the hardship facing the underprivileged through Union’s outreach ministry and partnership with charities and NGOs – serving dinner boxes to the homeless and elderly in Sham Shui Po, picnic with refugee families in Yuen Long, Christmas with kids at the St. Barnabas’ Society and Home, to name a few. Koon is an educator and architect. He contributes to Sunday School teaching for the 9-10 year olds, and is a part of the Couples Bible Study group with his wife Eunice and their daughter Ella.
