The Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 12:12 reminds us that 'the body is not made up of one part but of many." He also reminds us that there are many different spiritual gifts, all given by the same spirit for the common good. What is your spiritual gift and are you using it?
We have many different opportunities to use your gifts at Union Church. For those with the gifts of helps, teaching, shepherding, encouragement, evangelism, you could easily be mobilized in a ministry with Children, either this Summer for VBS or during the school year. VBS, Shipwreck theme, will run for 5 consecutive Sundays, starting this week and I know Jacklien would welcome you. Or maybe you have the gift of hospitality and would like to be a greeter. Or maybe you would like to work with refugees, seniors or within a prison. Or perhaps you would like to become a Bible reader, singer, prayer partner or a part of Stephen's Ministry.
As we gear up for the fall, all ministries will be on the lookout for people to serve. We would welcome the opportunity to help you find a meaningful place of ministry.
