Prayer Until Something Happens - this week's prayer items....
- Pray against disasters around the world. Pray specifically for relief for those affected by the earthquakes in Nepal. Pray for peace and grace to come upon the land of Nepal. Pray that people will trust in the Lord in their time of fear and need. Give praise for the outpouring of support for those in Nepal and let us continue to pray for those suffering in other parts of the world.
- Pray for those who are grieving the loss of loved ones and family. For all, pray for peace, strength and wisdom. "Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength." Nehemiah 8:10.
- Witness and Worship: pray that as a church community we remember our 1849 Statement of Faith, winning people to faith and assembling together in divine worship. Give praise for visitors from overseas."Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing." 1 Thessalonians5:11
- Pray for redevelopment and the BUFF project: "Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. We are carefully joined together in him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord." Ephesians 2:20-21
