Prayer Until Something Happens - this week's prayer items...
- In peace, pray to our Lord God. Pray for all people in their daily life and work – For our families, friends, and neighbors, and for those who are alone. Be grateful for all the blessings of this life.
- Pray for the victims of Hurricane Michael in the United States; for all of the participants in the #MeToo movement, which is erupting in India. Pray for all who work for justice, freedom, and peace.
- Pray for the just and proper use of God’s creation; pray for scientists, doctors, and nurses; pray for those who are grieving; pray for those who are marrying or divorcing; pray for those celebrating a new birth. Pray for the victims of hunger, fear, injustice, and oppression. Pray for those who minister to the sick, the friendless, and the needy.
- Pray for the special needs and concerns of Union Church’s congregation. Pray for the Men's Walk To Emmaus Christian retreat taking place next weekend. Pray that all those attending are blessed by the experience and touched by God in new ways.
