Today is Prayer Sunday! While Intercessors are always available to pray with you following the services, the second Sunday of each month will now be Prayer Sunday with a big emphasis on prayer. We encourage you to come forward at the end of the service today for prayer and praise of any kind. Pray that people will come forward to receive prayer.

The Spirit Groans: "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness, for we do not know how we should pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes on behalf of the saints according to God’s will." Romans 8:26 – 27 Give praise that we are not alone, the Holy Spirit is praying on our behalf, according to His very own will.

Give praise for the Annual General Meeting held on Saturday, 11 March. Pray that as Union Church moves forward, we spiritually grow as a united congregation of prayer.

Pray for people who have darkness in their life and are hiding from God. Pray that during the season of Lent they will take the Lord's hand to lead them out of darkness, and lead them out of the shadow of their fear. Pray that the Lord will help them to change their heart, bring them to His truth, and that they can respond to the Lord's generous love. Pray that people are freed from the darkness within their hearts.
