Prayer Until Something Happens - this week's prayer items...
- Pray for BUFF plans and fellowship at Union Church as we spend our final weeks in the current Union Church premises. Say hello to friends, welcome strangers, meet someone new, pray with others. And they were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. (Acts 2:42).
- Pray for unity and love as The Body of Christ worships together and pray that each meet someone new at Union Church today. Pray the scripture, "And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God." Colossians 3:14-16
- Pray for peace, especially in the Korean Peninsula as tensions rise. Pray for all people, but especially missionaries and Christians in the filed worldwide.
Today is Prayer Sunday! While Intercessors are always available to pray with you following the services, the second Sunday of each month will now be Prayer Sunday with a big emphasis on prayer. We encourage you to come forward at the end of the service today for prayer and praise of any kind. Pray that people will come forward to receive prayer.
Please join us for a time of prayer for the next two Wednesdays at 7:30PM in August (16th and 23rd) as we give praise for and pray for the times spent in the current Union Church buildings. Prayer fellowship time will start at 7:00PM with prayer beginning at 7:30PM. Please join us and bring a friend!
