Pray Until Something Happens - this weeks prayer items...
- Pray for peacemakers and justice-seeking communities around the world as they attempt to bring calm to conflict zones.
- Pray for those who are unwell. Pray that those battling various illnesses turn to the Lord for help in moments of weakness and times of need. Pray that the Lord be with His servants in their time of illness and drive out all infirmity and sickness from people’s bodies. Pray that the Lord restore the sick to full health and remove all fear and doubt from their hearts by the power of His Holy Spirit, and may the Lord be glorified through healing testimonies.
- Pray that people lean on Jesus to turn to their weakness into strength, suffering into compassion, sorrow into joy, and pain into comfort for themselves or others. Pray that the Lord’s servants trust in His goodness and hope in His faithfulness, even in the middle of any suffering. Let people be filled with patience and joy in the Lord’s presence.
- Pray for the BUFF Committee and for the upcoming Joint Leaders meeting on 18 January. Pray the outcome be pleasing to the Lord and may Union Church continue to glorify our Heavenly Father.
- Pray that people spend time in prayer... specifically asking the Lord what He wishes us to hold up in petition to Him.
