Pray Until Something Happens - this week prayer items
- Give praise that Typhoon Nida passed over Hong Kong with minimal damage or impact to people. Pray for the Lord to let the sun continue to shine once again in areas affected by rains and floods.
- Pray that people praise the LORD in the midst of any calamities. May individuals affected see that trials are blessings in disguise and glorify God as He provides. Pray those affected see that "God reigns and the Son shines - expect showers of blessings." Continue to pray for those suffering from illnesses and injuries. Pray for the healing hand of Jesus to be upon them.
- Give praise for on-going Vacation Bible School week. Pray that the seeds planted in the hearts of participants and volunteers "grow and become the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds can perch in its shade.” Mark 4:32
- Pray for a new season starting in Hong Kong and Union Church - safe travels for families returning to Hong Kong, children returning to school and those returning to work. Pray for Union Church fellowship for "from him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work" Ephesians 4:16 and good fellowship by praying that "a disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher." Luke 6:4
