Ladies Retreat 2022

Please note that we have reached capacity and the Ladies' Retreat is now closed. Please pray for a time of spiritual refreshment and fellowship for the women. 

Ladies - please pick up your Retreat bag from church before Thursday, 17 November. Be sure to bring all the contents on the retreat! 

How do you relate to God? Perhaps He desires us to relate to Him, clay to potter. What does that mean? 

Are you ready to allow God to have HIS way in your life? To shape + transform you? 

This retreat offers an intimate invitation to walk with God on the path of life. Join the 7th Annual Ladies Retreat at the Salesian Retreat House on Cheung Chau as we get to know God, clay to potter. 

We have 35 single rooms booked. Each room has a private bathroom with shower + single bed. Accommodation is basic - let's focus on our Creator! 

It's important to arrive and depart together so that we may all enjoy the fullness of what God has planned for us. 

What: The Potter's Wheel - 7th Annual Union Church Ladies Retreat
Where: Salesian Retreat House, Cheung Chau 
When: Friday, 18 November - Sunday, 20 November
Time: Depart Central Ferry Pier 5 to Cheung Chau, 18 Nov, 2:45pm (fast ferry)
and depart Cheung Chau together as a group on the 20th, 3:00pm (fast ferry)
Cost: $1800 per person (all expenses for 3 days, 2 nights including private room and selected external restaurant meals, excluding ferry transportation)

Please visit the Salesian Retreat House website for more information and photos of the venue. Note that we need to walk from the ferry pier in Cheung Chau to the venue - about 20 minutes. 

The retreat centre will provide both breakfasts, dinner Friday night and lunch on Saturday - fare will be classic Chinese retreat style. For Saturday dinner, we will walk 15 minutes or so to a restaurant. Sunday lunch will be catered from a restaurant. 

Payment details and a packing list are provided below the registration form. Please bring your own utensils. We will need you to wash them too after every use! 

If you have difficulty paying the $1800 fee, please notify the retreat leader, Juliana Rotmeyer. Some scholarships may be available.

Payment

Please pay $1800 by bank transfer, by credit card online or by cheque. Payment requested by 4 November. 

By cheque - Please make your HK$ cheque payable to "Union Church". Designate "Ladies Retreat 2022" on the back of your cheque and give it to the church office or the Sunday welcome desk. Thank you! 

By bank transfer - Please pay into Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, Account No. 411-1-000037-2, SWIFT Code if needed is SCBLHKHHXXX. Please alert the Church office at  when you make the transfer. 

By credit card online - You may pay via credit card using Union Church's online giving form. Thank you!
