This week I went to my doctor with what turned out to be a "recurrent staph infection.” When I came back to the church, my colleagues were worried that I had a "staff" infection. Union has wonderful staff and they are not infected. But the paid staff would get very sick indeed if it were not for all the wonderful volunteers who make Union the place it is. Has the Lord been nudging you to teach Sunday school or help with youth, Alpha, missions, or prison ministry? We have a place of ministry with your name on it. Don't be afraid to ask a staff member or volunteer. It will change your life for the better.
